Yesterday I was watching a documentary in one of the news channels describing about the wildfire in callifornia. It was also a comparison with most of the other dagerous wild fires in the world. One sentence caught my attention. "It is a dangerous and massive wild fire but fortunately no one has died in this mishap".
Why dont we say, "Lot of people died but fortuantely there was no harm to the wild life." Why should we be worried about our lives and dont worry about the nature's life. And we end up saying that hudreds of acres of lands were desearted but no one died. Why is it important for human being to live when the contribution to the nature by us is almost negligible
